Pump Horsepower Labelling Update
We have made an important update to the way we label the horsepower (HP) of our pumps to ensure greater clarity and transparency for our customers.
Labelling
Previous labelling: 4.2 HP
Updated labelling: 975 litres per minute at 4.2HP peak rate and 3HP continuous.

In the past, our pumps were labelled based on their peak horsepower (4.2 HP), which represents the maximum power output achievable during start-up or when overcoming resistance, such as in spas or swim spas. However, we are now updating the label to reflect the continuous horsepower of 3 HP, which is the sustained power output during normal operation.
This adjustment aligns with industry standards. Peak horsepower represents the motor’s maximum power, but continuous horsepower provides a more consistent measure of the motor’s day-to-day performance. By updating our labelling to show continuous horsepower, we aim to give you a clearer and more accurate representation of the pump’s performance.
This is purely a change in labelling. The performance of our pumps remains unchanged, continuing to deliver the same power and reliability that you trust.
